Vanity Wellness Center designed the Addiction & Recovery model of care after decades of research and thousands of hours spent with adolescents in various stages of recovery. Does your facility have doctors on staff? If so, are they available 24/7?
Vanity Wellness Center employs 2 Doctors. One MD Addiction Specialist and one MD Psychiatrist. Our doctors are on call 24 hours a day as well as regular scheduled weekly visits with each client.
Does your facility have any after treatment job placement programs? If so, please explain what services might be available.
Vanity Wellness Center offers Job and Education counseling as well as many other programs and services to help our clients adjust back to a healthy and happy life for years to come.
Does your facility offer financing or scholarship programs?
In certain cases our facility may work with clients on a sliding scale basis or some form of a payment plan.
What type of recreational activities are available at the treatment facility?
We have an on-site music studio, Gaming center, celebrity guest speakers, gym memberships for clients, and weekly activities based on client input.
What types of meals or meal plans do you provide?
Vanity Wellness Center provides meals for all clients while they are at our facility. We also provide unlimited drinks and snacks.
Do you offer Detox programs?
Vanity Wellness Center is licensed to provide Outpatient Detox or inpatient Detox at one of our upscale trusted partners.
What type of phone, internet or Television privileges do you allow?
Clients are allowed phone, internet and phone at any time when not in a group or individual session.
What are your facilities average length of stay or patient participation?
Since we provide all levels of care and each case is based on clinical necessity, length of stay may be from 30 days to 1 year based on client need and desire to participate.
Do you provide both private room and shared room options? If rooms are shared, how many per room and what is the cost difference?
We provide both private and semi private rooms at a sober living residence. Shared rooms are 2 per room at $800 per month and private rooms for $1500. Sliding scale may also be available for those with financial difficulties.
What is your average cost for treatment with and without insurance?
Those with insurance will need to submit insurance prior to obtaining an accurate quote. In many cases, insurance may cover the majority or all of the cost. However, since each insurance is dramatically different, there is no way to give accurate information until we verify insurance benefits. Cash pay may range from $8000 to $15000 per month.
What is your policy on visitors?
We encourage family member to be involved and visitors are allowed with prior approval from clinical staff. We do not allow any visitors who are under the influence of any drugs or alcohol for the safety of all of our clients.

What is the staff to resident ratio?
At this time our staff to client ratio is approximately 3 to 1. However this may change slightly as the number of clients are growing. However, as the client base grows, we are constantly adding new staff to accommodate our clients and remain the Gold Standard in our field.
What is the average length of stay at your facility?
Since we base our program on clinical necessity and alos client input, length of stay may vary. Typical stays are approximately 90 days, however, many clients may stay for 6 months to a year.

What are the best ways to stay sober after Rehab?
Do not leave rehab without a plan that has been collaboratively developed with other people who have been a part of your journey to wellness. Stay honest, stay humble, ask for help, stay away from being dishonest with yourself and others, don’t cut corners, identify when the addict part of your thinking is trying to seduce you back to using. Make and keep commitments, stay in a place of integrity with yourself, don’t isolate, speak up for what you need and want from other people.

There are many options for needed treatment and insurance is not always required. Resources in your home community like the Department of Mental health, Department of Health Services, Community Counseling Centers, In Los Angeles you can call 211 on any phone and ask for what you need. Many people during this difficult time feel like they are not going to be right or say the right things no matter what is said. What is the difference between residential treatments, IOP and sober living?
Inpatient drug rehab is intended for people who require an inpatient detoxification or residential program due to safety concerns related to the type and quantity of drugs and alcohol used. Some drugs including alcohol can be dangerous if stopped abruptly. At inpatient drug rehabs, the focus is on safety, supervision, medical monitoring and providing around the clock care where someone can be assisted for a brief time and not have added worry.

Withdrawal is one aspect of physical dependence that occurs when a person has chronically used some drug and the mind and body has adjusted to having a specific level of the drug in the system, and the system stabilizes itself to function in the presence of the drug. The normal detoxification process removes the drug from the system. If the individual does not continue the drug or alcohol consumption, their system is thrown out of balance.
